I attempted to modify my DNS settings but encountered issues. The interface suggested saving, yet the network configuration stayed unchanged. I also tried enabling an HTTP proxy, but installing an ad-blocker from my old phone didn’t help—it seems this feature is no longer available. Has Apple discontinued it? I’m using iOS 12.1.2 and even older versions like 12.1 or 12.1.1 don’t allow changes. Searching online didn’t yield any recent guidance, especially since the last relevant articles were from September/October 2018 for iOS 11. Could this be a regional limitation? Thanks!

Select the small i for the network you wish to modify. Switch DNS to manual, remove the existing entries, and enter your desired address. They handle the saving automatically.

I’ve tried this before and repeated it, but nothing changes. Each adjustment doesn’t actually make a difference. The servers are functioning properly. It just feels like Apple isn’t letting it through—like when I did this on iOS 11 with the iPhone X last year, but now it doesn’t work on my current XS after a month of testing. The manual settings I set in iSettings don’t save. If I switch to manual, delete the old one and put the new one, it should revert to automatic.
