Hello, welcome to networking! Do you have a way to enable both options? A splitter might help with this. I saw a similar discussion but wasn't using Ethernet for backhaul—just connecting to a TP Link desktop switch (TL-SF1008D) to add more Ethernet ports. I'm not sure if the switch I mentioned could replace the one in the diagram, and I'd prefer not to swap my current switch since it has eight ports.
