Configuration issues in apps?
It seems you're experiencing issues with app configurations resetting when switching between Windows 10 (Pro) and other apps. You've already checked online resources without success, so it might help to explore specific troubleshooting steps or contact support for Windows 10 Pro.
There could be a file format such as .config that Windows is restricting. It's unclear how to verify this, but it's a known issue. For instance, many educational institutions often block .bat scripts.
Programs usually save settings in two main locations: C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming and within the registry for individual accounts. Sometimes access problems or permission issues can cause loss of data. It’s possible system tweaks or outdated software contributed to the issue. Many solutions are available, but some open-source options may need careful handling. Remembering previous actions might guide us in restoring your settings.
The only solution that comes to mind is Driver Booster. I didn’t run any advanced system care or anything that would change the registry. I think the driver booster isn't the sole solution you set up to enhance your system.
Ignore his response. The connection isn't proof, yet more users are facing system issues after using Driver Booster. I'm curious to investigate—could it be linked or just random? I'm ready to move forward now. If you want a fast fix, try creating another account and check if the issue persists.
That’s understandable. I’ll leave this off my system temporarily and focus on the login problem. The only practical fix I have in mind is a full Windows reinstall, though I’d rather avoid that.
