I recently upgraded my modem to a GB model. I joined a Google Wi-Fi mesh network and noticed the router only had two ports, so I installed a Netgear 5-port unmanaged Ethernet switch. My Google Wi-Fi device is set up on Port 5 as suggested. The Netgear switch supports two direct connections to PCs and links to a powerline adapter for other parts of the house. Our internet connection drops roughly every 20 minutes, almost like the whole system restarts. What might be causing this? All cables are Cat 6.

This is an uplink connection? Powerline will not work properly for several reasons related to your electrical wiring.
