Do you have any idea about a configuration file for USB-C docking stations? In our company, we use two types: Itec and HP G5 dock. Because of the pandemic, the HP units aren't available for delivery. Some users can work with any dock, but others can't. Is there a way to remove a config file? I looked on Google but didn’t find anything. We’re running Windows 10 22H2 with the latest updates. Thanks!

It shouldn't include extra stuff. Are you thinking of a USB hub with USB ports, HDMI, etc.? If yes, it should work out of the box. For Thunderbolt 4, your host device might only support standard Type C, which means some features won't be available.

I understand, but it seems there might be a saved configuration either on the hub or the PC. Since the same laptop works after reinstallation, there’s no BIOS problem—we confirmed this with all users.

I've been utilizing the Targus hubs to accommodate up to four monitors (currently three in use). It functions across various laptops. I have four that I rotate through for different purposes, and they all work seamlessly. They're a bit pricey, but consider if the IT department will cover it.
