Configuración de BIOS de Gigabyte.
A few months ago I switched my M.2 Samsung SSD from MBR to GPT for Windows 11. I updated the BIOS and re-applied some settings, only to notice the Storage boot option was set to Legacy instead of UEFI. Meanwhile, my "Other PCI Device ROM Priority" was configured for UEFI. My GPT SSD works perfectly, but should I change the Storage boot option to UEFI? Additionally, for someone using a Gigabyte motherboard, I once enabled secure boot, but after that my PC failed to boot and displayed a blank screen—no BIOS at all. Now I’ve updated the BIOS; how can I enable secure boot without encountering a blank screen? My system is already in UEFI mode and uses GPT. Thanks!
I adjusted the storage boot setting to UEFI and it functioned properly, but there was an issue a few months ago regarding secure boot. When I turned on secure boot in my Gigabyte BIOS, the computer wouldn’t start. The drive used GPT format and UEFI was active. After resetting CMOS, it booted normally. Recently, I updated the BIOS because my system’s date/version was outdated. Now I’m considering enabling secure boot for added security, as requested by Valorant. I’m unsure how to activate it without encountering a blank screen, especially since I haven’t enabled it after the previous problem. Anyone with experience on Gigabyte BIOS who has handled this issue could assist me? Thanks!
