Additionally, for those new to the process that might be useful—after installing Benchmate 11—you can launch VST using the CMD command: “C:\Program Files (x86)\Benchmate 11\apps\y-cruncher\0.8.2.0\y-cruncher.exe” and run it in stress mode.

I don’t have any information about this. The key point is usually whether it works or not, the error it displays when it doesn’t, and the exit screen you see before quitting. It might be useful to try VT3, as it’s their latest stress test and reportedly more demanding than VST. I haven’t encountered a case where VT3 fails while VST succeeds, though I haven’t searched closely enough—keep that in mind.

I focused on emphasizing the IMC from the start, since I’ve noticed VST tends to do that. That’s my next move. VST really does put a strain on the CPU, which is why I’m okay with my current thermal setup—most games and apps shouldn’t keep it under pressure this far. In games like Starfield, temperatures rarely rise above 60, and VST usually stays in the high 70s to 80s consistently.

VT3 functions similarly, but with a marginally varied task load and seems to handle crashes on the IMC more effectively.

I need to ensure strong results in Memtest86 and 400% HCI now. Just want a few more stress tests that won’t take too long. That 7200 XMP wasn’t quite perfect—bet around 6600–6800 if it holds up. By the way, in MSI BIOS you can adjust the CPU SA specific number, but there’s also an “auto” option above it. Should I pick that instead of auto to lock in the value, or will it stay unchanged? It doesn’t seem to change much in HWinfo, so I’d prefer it stays fixed. It’s tough to get clear guidance like this, and I’m focusing on one change at a time. Thanks again!

According to my understanding, it switches to an override mode if you enter a value manually, even though I simply enable it each time I use it.
