I’m puzzled by the significantly lower quality of my recent Assassin's Creed videos, considering that my older content – like the Mass Effect 2 walkthrough from 2009 – looks much better. My only hardware upgrade was switching to an RTX 2080 from a GTX 770, and I continue to record at 1080p with 40+ mbps and 60 frames per second. However, the uploaded Assassin's Creed videos exhibit noticeable distortion. I’ve been sending the original, uncompressed files directly to YouTube without re-encoding them for smaller sizes. A friend suggested a high bitrate setting, but the Mass Effect 2 video from Part 9 has identical resolution, bit rate, and frame rate, yet it appears much sharper. My internet connection remains unchanged, using the same provider and speed. I use the exact same recording software for all games. What’s causing this discrepancy? I believe the issue lies with how Ubisoft processes their game footage, not my setup.

My online broadcasts are superior to my Assassin's Creed recordings.

I’ve uploaded videos at 15, 20, and 30 Mbps speeds and I’m experiencing the same issue. I don't believe it’s a problem on my end anymore.
