I’d also mention that the 5900x tends to run quite hot, which might mean you should consider a new CPU cooler too. However, pay close attention to the power supply. If you upgrade the CPU, the stronger processor will allow your 3080 to perform better and handle higher heat, making it run faster and more efficiently while also drawing more power.

Regarding the power supply, the person recommended at least 750, but I think 850 to 1000 would be a solid choice if you’re not looking for a significant increase.
