Hello, I just completed my first build and am facing issues where the computer freezes and both the keyboard and mouse lights shut off simultaneously. The fans are still running, but all the motherboard lights remain inactive. I changed from Pop OS to Windows 10 to rule out software causes. I’ve monitored temperatures during freezes, which rarely exceeded 40°C. Everything else on the system is brand new except the SSD and graphics card. I’m seeking assistance as I’ve been under a lot of stress.

Description of Original Problem: Computer freezes and mouse and keyboard stop working
Troubleshooting Steps: reset CMOS, updated drivers, performed memtest, checked temperatures at crash point. Tried Linux and then back to Windows with the same issue. Replaced RAM and prayed to elder gods while sacrificing a goat.
Both are around four days old, is there a chance they might be faulty?
unlikely, but it did occur. Try testing with every USB port. Because it's new, bring the motherboard or claim warranty.
I reached out to Amazon and they probably just will send another one. I'll check again after Tuesday. I'm hoping it fixes the problem.
