Computer powered off and won't restart!

Your machine stopped working suddenly, then restarted itself briefly before shutting down once more. Now it doesn’t power on at all. You have a Ryzen 7 3700X, an EVGA RTX 2070 Super, 32GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, a 850W Corsair RMX PSU, the Corsair H150i Pro RGB XT AIO, and six RGB fans plus three non-RGB ones. You’re using a USB 3.0 PCIe add-on card. This setup is new and under a year old—please help me troubleshoot.

It appears the power source might be the problem. Disconnect or take away everything except one stick of RAM and a hard drive, then observe the outcome. Please let me know your results when you check back.

Use the wall outlet directly rather than the surge protector to test if the problem persists.

Are you asking about the eco-friendly surge protectors that cut power to devices on specific ports? I’ve dealt with troubleshooting a PC using one of those before.

The green surge protectors you noticed usually show their eco-friendly status clearly on the device. It’s unlikely they’re misleading. Consider rearranging all power cables at both the power supply and component sides.
