Computer lights stayed on once it was turned off at night
Hey, I wanted to share my experience here. Recently I assembled a new PC and initially ran without a GPU since I didn’t have one. Everything functioned perfectly for a while. Once I installed the GPU, everything worked smoothly during testing and gaming sessions. After a short break, I powered it back on and noticed the orange DRAM indicator stayed lit continuously. I attempted various fixes—using just one RAM stick, updating BIOS, but nothing resolved the issue. Eventually, after removing the M.2 drive and reinstalling everything, it worked for the rest of the day. The next day the DRAM light reappeared. This time I disconnected the ARGB header from the motherboard, and it disappeared. I also tried turning it on without a drive, swapping RAM sticks, updating BIOS, and even using a different power supply, yet the problem persisted. Now I’m unsure what to do next. Here’s what I have: CPU – AMD Ryzen 5 7600X; GPU – Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT Nitro+; Motherboard – ASUS TUF GAMING X670E-PLUS; RAM – Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz CL30 Dominator Titanium; PSU – be quiet!; Power Supply – 10 850W; Cooling – SilentiumPC Fortis 5 140mm; SSD – Lexar 2TB M.2 NM710.
