Computer issues: black screen during game play, system remains active
Hi there, newcomer. I bought a used GPU from a miner to swap in for my RX550 4GB one. When I tried running games or ran Furmark, the screen went black but the computer stayed on. I've checked everything—tried reinstalling graphics, updating Windows 10, updating the BIOS, etc.—but nothing fixed it. No one else seems to have the same issue. What might be causing this? My system specs are: Ryzen 5 1500X Biostar, A320MHz Pro, 8GB RAM, GTX 1660 Ti, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, 450W PSU.
It's a regional company named alcatroz, not an older generation brand and it doesn't require modular adjustments.
Consider purchasing a new PSU as well. Also, check if turning it off and then back on resolves the issue.
