I understand, it seemed a bit too much knowing there were only 23 left, especially when I wasn’t using anything.

You seem to be handling several background tasks, but they tend to end up disappearing fast. It could be typical for your device. Could you share your hardware details?

It seems like you're describing a situation where a lot of processes were active, consuming significant memory.

It's strange since I'm using the same memory usage now as before, so I don't know what was consuming all the RAM.

After the reboot, RAM usage continues to reflect active processes. The 4GB figure is typical as background apps run, and Windows consumes part of it for its own functions.

The majority of background programs are system-based, while the rest operate with less than 2MB each.

Certain applications aren't properly cleaned up after they're closed, which can show up in Task Manager as leftover memory with no program showing ownership. This highlights why nightly shutdowns are beneficial—they remove unnecessary data from RAM.

It seems like the problem might be related to memory consumption. I sometimes restart my computer a few times a day due to high RAM usage, yet my apps don’t seem to use much space, but they keep increasing.
