Computer is active, yet displays intermittent monitor signal loss. Possible GPU problem?
Hello everyone, I'm seeking some advice regarding an issue I'm facing. I have two 2K monitors connected to my 3080 GPU using the new display port cables I just installed. Occasionally, both monitors lose signal whether I'm using the desktop or playing games, but the computer remains functional in the background. For example, I can hear music when listening to Spotify. To fix it, I need to restart the PC. After restarting, the GPU fans spin very fast and then stop. When I ask if I want to load BIOS optimized defaults, nothing seems to work. I've changed the cables, reinstalled the clean GPU drivers, unplugged the monitors, and changed the ports on the GPU, but the problem persists. Do you think this is related to a GPU issue? Thank you in advance for your help.
