Components: CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700 GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT MOBO: Asrock B650 PG Lightning RAM: (2x16)Gb G.Skill Ripjaws S5 DDR5 5600MHz PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-850 Drives: Seagate 530 Firecuda 1TB (NVME Boot Drive), Crucial P3 4TB(NVME secondary drive) All parts are brand new and have only been used for two months. I assembled my system at the end of April and it functioned flawlessly until two days ago. Then, when I powered it on from sleep, it displayed the Windows lock screen and became unresponsive. After resetting, it only reached the Asrock logo before hanging for thirty seconds with the BOOT and VGA lights illuminated on the motherboard before restarting. I can access the BIOS and all devices are detected. When attempting a Windows boot via boot override, I encountered a completely black screen lasting thirty seconds followed by a reset. Things I attempted: Creating a Windows installation media USB resulted in a blank black screen when booting from the BIOS. Updating the BIOS to the latest (beta) version, removing the CMOS battery to revert to the previous BIOS, updating back to the original one used during setup. No improvement. It has now returned to the most recent stable BIOS, which was active for about a month. Removing the GPU and using the integrated graphics did not help. Disabling or swapping RAM sticks in different slots also failed to resolve the issue. Leaving the GPU out for easier access didn’t change anything. Deleting just the boot drive, both drives, the secondary drive, and keeping the boot slot active still left me stuck on the logo screen or caused a black screen when forcing a Windows installation tool. I also tried alternative bootable USB drives, which produced the same outcome. I checked other forums but didn’t find any with the identical problem where they could enter the BIOS but couldn’t boot anything. If anyone has suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

These lights indicate a problem. It might be due to a faulty GPU or BIOS issue. Is there an option to flash the USB BIOS on your motherboard?

My motherboard supports BIOS flashback. I utilized that option to update the boot settings.

The last time I updated the BOIS was to version 1.24 at the beginning of June. When issues arose, a suggestion from another thread recommended pulling the CMOS and resetting it. I followed that advice. I also tested the latest beta version and the older 1.21 version, which is the one I originally installed when I first set it up.
