Looking for a solid gaming laptop under $1100? It should have a Ryzen 7 or i7 processor, 16GB RAM, an M.2 NVMe SSD, and a good graphics card like RTX 3050 or GTX 1660 Super. Preferably from Asus or MSI.

Yes, the details look quite precise—do you already have a concept in mind?

Yes, but the price exceeds my budget. Asus ROG Strix G15 (Ryzen 9 5900HX/16 GB/1TB/RTX 3050/15.6 inch 144hz) The Ryzen 7 version uses Zen 2.

Are you concerned about the gap between Zen 2 and Zen 3? Since a Ryzen 9 is significantly stronger than a 3050, a Ryzen 7 on Zen 2 offers better balance for most gaming needs. Unless you're into racing games, this difference likely isn't crucial.

I don’t play games, just as I don’t play them casually. I’m looking for a machine suited for video editing, 3D design, programming, game development, and app creation.

If you aren't a gamer yet but value the extra speed of Zen 3 over Zen 2, have you checked out the Acer Swift X Creator Laptop with a Ryzen 7 5800u CPU and 3050 Ti GPU on Amazon? They occasionally drop in price around 900 USD and come with 16GB RAM. It could be perfect for your needs—performing well, using less power, staying cooler, quieter, lighter, longer battery life, and saving you money over time. Just need to upgrade the NVMe drive to fit your requirements. (Since you're on a budget, it should be within reach.) If I were in the U.S., I’d definitely purchase it without hesitation, though it isn’t available locally at the moment. I understand your situation and would have bought it if possible. While I enjoy editing more than gaming, a strong GPU is essential. This model also includes an extra NVMe port, letting you expand storage without buying a new unit—very convenient in my opinion. Good luck finding the right laptop! And I hope this post proves useful.
