Hi,
I'm having issues with my Gigabyte X99 that has a 5820K chip. It was working at 4300 initially, but I tried setting it to 4400 with 100hz and 44 multiplier. The system wouldn't boot and would hang while trying to access BIOS to revert the change. After resetting the CMOS and restarting, it still freezes or reboots shortly after starting. Pressing F2 sometimes gets me into BIOS but then freezes after a few seconds. When I attempt to boot into Windows or Hackintosh, it just freezes or restarts. I've also removed my PCI soundcard and all USB devices. Could this be a hardware problem? Thanks, Tom

I managed to get started with OSX, but it crashed when I tried to open the menu bar.

After taking out two of the four RAM sticks, OSX now starts, which is a positive sign. Windows is also launching but ends up with a black screen and no cursor. I haven't modified Windows recently except for installing some updates. Running in safe mode triggers a BSOD followed by a reboot.
