I've verified my BIOS fan settings and everything looks correct. With my 750W platinum EVGA Supernova, I suspect the problem isn't with the power supply. All my case fans are already installed in the case using a Corsair fan controller that has one fan plug on the MOBO. My CPU cooler is an NH-D15, and only the CPU fan is connected to the CPU_FAN port on the MOBO. I've changed plugs on the MOBO multiple times, but the fans still shut down randomly, causing the CPU temperature to rise to 80 degrees. Once all fans stopped working, restarting the PC resolved the issue—fans either ran for a week or stopped several times daily. This has been happening for about a month and a half. I also ran benchmarks from 6am to 10pm, checking the system throughout the day, but couldn't get the fans to turn off. The next day, during gameplay, the fans all turned off completely. I don’t know what to do—should I replace the fans, the MOBO, or is it my PSU?

Consider altering the fan headers you employ.

He's finished that... Is it the motherboard or the power supply unit?
