MoBo: GIGABYTE B550 Aorus Elite V2 CPU, Ryzen 7 5800X, GPU MSI GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC, PSU Corsair CX650, RAM 2x Kingston FURY Beast 8GB 3600MHz DDR4 (KF436C17BB/8). Recently built a new PC for a friend, but it’s not functioning properly. Everything seems to work initially—fans and LEDs operate—but peripheral devices fail: mouse doesn’t light, keyboard doesn’t respond, display shows no signal. The PC doesn’t boot into the menu. I attempted BIOS flashing, but it doesn’t work. Q-Flash didn’t trigger any action. USB appears to be active briefly but not consistently. CMOS cleared, still no response. File format is FAT32 with name GIGABYTE.bin. Tried different BIOS versions, but nothing changes. Still unsure what to do next. Hope this helps! Please let me know if I’ve miswritten anything. Thanks!
I don't believe it was a success. It doesn't work like the usual five seconds of blinking. The MoBo isn't showing anything unless I press the Q-Flash+ button.
Do you possess an APU nearby or should you disconnect the battery from the BIOS for fifteen minutes?
I’ve noticed the BIOS fails to identify some items and won’t power up. Could it be a fresh build or an old part from a prior project?
The drive is quite large and appears to be formatted as fat32 with just one partition. That setup might not be ideal. If everything fits within the given limits, it could indicate a problem with the board itself. Make sure you tested it outside the case first.
