Specs: Housing - $180 fractal style, Terra CPU, Ryzen 5 7500f cooling, pure rock low-profile GPU, RTX 3090, AMD B650E PG-ITX RAM, Team Group CL30 DDR5 32GB, PSU, Corsair SF850. This PC was built about a month ago. I’ve noticed the CPU getting very hot, often hitting 90°C or higher. My games sometimes freeze and require a manual power reset from the case. I’m not sure what’s causing it, but overheating seems likely. Usually it restarts fine, though this time it froze completely. After rebooting, fans spin normally but there’s no display. There’s also an LED light indicating “GeForce RTX” on the 3090. I’m concerned this might be related to the GPU. Even though the GPU hasn’t reached those high temps before, it never stays below 80°C. I read about resetting CMOS, but the manual doesn’t specify where the battery is. After searching forums, someone mentioned it’s on the back panel, but when I took it apart, I couldn’t locate it. If this is the right step, could anyone help me reset the CMOS using the ASRock B650E PG? Also let me know any other troubleshooting ideas.
