In the past week my PC has experienced random shutdowns ending in a black screen, followed by an immediate restart roughly every hour or two. The monitor remains on and the fans continue to spin. Keyboard and mouse indicators stay active as well. It appears the issue isn’t linked to GPU, CPU, or RAM strain. I’ve run several stress tests without triggering a reset. No overheating signs were observed. The Windows Event Viewer provided only an unexpected shutdown alert. The most probable cause seems to be a failing PSU, since it was bought in 2019. Anyone have suggestions before making another purchase?

Certain motherboards, such as those from ASUS, include memtest86 in their BIOS utility options.

I've been working on fixing my PC's random reboots. I'm attempting to identify the GPU and using the CPU's built-in graphics as a backup to check if the system still crashes. The integrated graphics chip on my CPU isn't showing any output through the motherboard's HDMI or DisplayPort. The cables and monitor are functioning properly with the graphics card. I've turned on integrated graphics in BIOS and forced it to use them. I've tested both with and without the GPU connected. Anyone have ideas? All components are brand new except for the storage. Thanks.

One month after the problem began, I'm still experiencing issues. After purchasing a new 850W power supply and an M.2 SSD, I've attempted to use them only with a fresh Windows installation. I've verified all front panel connections and removed everything except the power cables. I've also adjusted PC settings to prevent auto reboots, but nothing has changed. If anyone has additional advice, please share it.
