Hello everyone, I recently updated my tuf gaming b650-plus WiFi in Armoury Crate and the system won’t restart anymore. After trying to restart, the screen stays black permanently and an orange light comes on the motherboard. The new machine is fresh, gaming functions properly and shutdowns work, but restarting seems problematic. It might be causing trouble with Windows updates. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, jmay 4070 super MSI Amd ryzen 7 7800x3d 32gb ddr5

Checking if you're restarting the case or the PC. Also, clearing the CMOS now.

Hi, I've been attempting to restart the PC, but it's behaving oddly. I'm going to try resetting the CMOS.

Connect a USB to manually update the motherboard BIOS. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, attempt using a Linux Live USB to test for proper startup.

You can update the BIOS on your motherboard by connecting it via USB and following the manufacturer’s instructions. Make sure your computer is powered off, then use the appropriate USB port to access the BIOS setup tool.

The selection differs depending on the motherboard. What are you looking for?

Visit the official ASUS website for detailed guidance. Download the BIOS file and extract it to a USB drive formatted with FAT32. Refer to the instructions on page 29 for specific steps.

Hi, I've rebooted my PC before making any changes and it functioned perfectly. Thanks for your assistance! It's strange how it just worked without any issues.
