Continuing from the last discussion - the power supply unit was swapped, yet the problem remains. What might be behind this? I've experienced this for several months now, but the root cause is unclear. It mainly occurs during certain loading tasks in games (such as switching maps between matches or loading cutscenes) whereas it doesn't happen while playing normally. Only when a heavy load is applied does the issue arise. My screen displays a solid color (resembling the last rendered color), but most of the time it remains responsive. I can hear audio from Discord, but not from others, and the keyboard responds properly. After some time, the monitor shows "No signal" and turns off completely. I often have to perform a hard reset. I've examined the Event Viewer, but only found an unexpected shutdown error—nothing else. Occasionally, when launching programs or games, audio might stutter slightly, though I suspect it shouldn't be an issue. What I've tried so far: Updating GPU drivers, re-seating the GPU, deep cleaning PCIe ports, running a benchmark app for four hours (temperatures stayed below 78°C, no crashes—Unigine benchmark in extreme settings), using different GPU ports, checking temperatures (GPU max 78°C after long playtime, CPU max 60°C), and switching to a new PSU. Despite these efforts, the issue still happens randomly during loading operations. I've read that it could stem from various factors, but most suggestions pointed to unreliable PSU power. Since my previous unit was faulty, replacing it resolved the problem for a week before it crashed again—image became stuck in solid color, but sounds from Spotify and Discord worked, while the keyboard stayed responsive. The solid color freeze occurs regardless of the other RAM stick.
I haven't performed any overclocking, so everything remains as it came from the factory. The MSI Afterburner displays +0 next to both core and memory clocks, suggesting it isn't overclocked. Could this problem be linked to using two monitors? I've never experienced this before after switching to dual monitors; it also causes crashes when only one is active (and I've disabled it in Windows settings).
