You can completely eliminate the windows from your PC's HDD or SSD by removing them entirely. This is often done when replacing storage components, allowing you to install a new drive inside a protective case.

It depends... The simplest method is to back up your files (documents, images, anything you wish to save) onto an external drive or cloud storage, and then format the drive. This will erase all date information from the drive. Acquire fresh drives, install the operating system there, transfer the old ones into the enclosure, collect your files, and finally use the format option in "Computer" to reset it.

During setup, choose advanced options rather than basic settings. This applies to Windows 10 as well.

The method works well. Or completely wiping the entire drive. For a fresh Windows setup, formatting inside the installer is sufficient, later you can reinstall on Windows or with third-party utilities (software or bootable media).
