Greetings, I am planning to assemble a PC featuring a Ryzen 2700X processor.
My graphics card will be a GTX 1080, and my motherboard is an Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming.
I have Corsair 550W power supply. My inquiry is regarding my existing DDR4 memory – I currently possess 2133MHz RAM from a previous system. Should I retain this memory, or should I invest in a 3200MHz kit?
Thank you.
P.S. Is a water cooler necessary for the 2700X, or is it adequate with its standard fan?

Investors in stocks can be beneficial, but overclocking can lead to problems. The voltage regulators on certain motherboards might limit your performance before anything else. Gigabyte misrepresented a motherboard’s power delivery system, claiming it had eight plus three phases when it was actually only four plus three. Buildzoid exposed this deception, and he likely created a video about it—here’s another resource: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pcgames...-vrm%3famp. I want to inform you about the potential for disappointment due to this issue.

Upgrade your memory with RAM that has a minimum speed of 3200 MHz. Verify the motherboard’s Qualified Vendor List (QVL) for compatible RAM kits, and can you identify the model number of your power supply unit (PSU)?

Soldier-Stink1:
Acquire additional memory, with a minimum speed of 3200 MHz. Verify your motherboard’s Qualified Vendor List for compatible RAM sets, and what model power supply unit do you have?
Corsair VS Series VS550 from your existing computer.

When not significantly increasing clock speeds or operating at standard settings, the original cooler is generally sufficient for the processor.

If you aren’t significantly increasing the clock speed or operating at the manufacturer’s default settings, the original cooler is perfectly adequate for the processor.

I've discovered that Ryzen’s automatic, highly accurate boosting feature performs better than maintaining a steady 4.3 GHz clock speed. If this is correct, I won’t attempt to overclock at all.

Investors in equities can be beneficial, though overclocking may cause issues later on. However, the voltage regulators (VRMs) present on that motherboard could limit your performance initially. Gigabyte incorrectly claimed the board had an 8+3 power phase configuration when, in reality, it was a 4+3 design. Buildzoid exposed this misrepresentation, and he likely would have created a video addressing it. Here’s another resource for your information: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pcgames...-vrm%3famp. I’m simply aiming to inform you about the potential for disappointment.

Are there any other X470 motherboards available in the $130-$160 range that you would suggest?

Could you tell me where you reside?

If a nearby microcenter could be helpful, that would be great.

Furthermore, you’ll receive a $30 discount on the motherboard if a processor is purchased.

I’m curious about your location.

If you're near a regional computer distributor, that might be helpful.

They offer a $30 discount on motherboards when you purchase a processor through them.

I reside in Greece; I’m not sure that area is supported there. Also, while looking around, some discussions suggested considering an MSI Tomahawk X450 motherboard as an alternative.
