I've encountered this problem where stuttering persists even after upgrading parts. I've been using Minecraft Yogscast Complete for a while and still experience noticeable stutter. My previous setup had an FX-6100 at 4.5ghz and a GTX 560, now I have a 4790k and a GTX 970. The performance gap remains unchanged. This issue occurs regardless of whether I include a texture pack. Please help if you can.

Yes, I updated the drivers and removed the previous ones.

It's frustrating when Minecraft doesn't work properly.

I restored Windows completely. It's unclear why others don't face this problem. Stock Minecraft works without issues, regardless of settings.

Minecraft remains a game that depends on processing power. I'm not an expert on processors, but is your 4790K better than your old FX-6100? Have you experimented with Minecraft settings? It's been a while since I played, so my advice might be outdated. Consider adjusting render distance, MSAA, and other options to see if you notice any changes.

The 4790k looks significantly more powerful than the fx-6100. I'm planning to experiment with different settings, but it feels a bit unusual because the single-threaded and multi-threaded performance should be top-notch. Edit: It appears to occur only when loading large chunks—generally it stays steady at 60 fps, but drops to 51-53 fps with noticeable frame drops that cause stuttering. Probably just a suboptimal optimization of the mod pack.
