Afternoon all,
I'm dealing with a problem where my computer seems to lose power completely—no fans, no lights, and so on. It worked before, but now it's not responding at all. I checked the BIOS settings just before it stopped working, but I'm not sure if I selected the right option. The only time it appears to get power is when I press the q flash button. I've tried another power supply, but nothing changed. Since it does work with the q flash, that suggests the hardware itself might be fine. I've reassembled the whole PC to verify the cables, but still nothing. Any suggestions?

The computer is turned off and won’t restart. Jumping the power switch didn’t help, though you gave me some hope, so thank you! It might be a problem with the motherboard.

You may attempt the paperclip power supply test; it isn't an exact test but indicates the PSU is sufficient to activate the fan.

Tried it with another PSU but the same problem occurred. Didn't realize this before. Really helpful, appreciate it.
