PC specifications include a GTX 1070 GPU (GeForce drivers current), an Intel Core i5-4690K CPU with a cool master cooler, 8 GB RAM, Windows 10 updated to 144Hz, and a monitor. There have been recent problems with Warzone on the system. Previously, the game ran smoothly at normal/high settings with around 60 FPS. Recently, I've experienced severe stuttering, crashes, and the CPU has consistently stayed at full load despite being fine before. I've tried adjusting graphics settings, closing background apps, re-downloading the game, repairing files, and using Process Lasso to manage priority, but nothing resolved the issue. The game now performs poorly regardless of other games.

I've got an older CPU, like the i7-2700K. The system runs at full load, and the GPU is always busy. I noticed better performance when I turned off Windows Game Bar's DVR feature.

Your GPU usage fluctuates between 50-80% based on settings, while the CPU stays consistently at full capacity. I've disabled both Discord and GeForce overlays, but no improvements have been noticed yet.

These are the essential requirements. What you’re quoted as needing is sufficient for setup, but not for full operation. Enjoy!

You're facing an issue... consider upgrading to 16GB. Windows requires additional memory, and during gameplay it often uses about half of your installed capacity.

Modern quadcores without hyperthreading face challenges with most recent large games. This isn't limited to MW in Warzone. Consider checking out a refurbished 4790k—while it won’t boost game performance, it could provide extra capacity for multitasking with eight threads.

Thanks for the guidance. I've added more RAM and will explore a different CPU. Still puzzled about its performance before, but that's okay!

Call of duty receives regular updates as many multiplayer-focused titles do. Performance can improve or decline based on how effectively the patch is optimized, or whether developers aim to support newer hardware.
