Hello there! Make sure you confirm the exact components you're referring to—i5 7500 or i7 7700. Both are not compatible with Z390 boards; they work best on 200-series or 100-series platforms. If you manage, you might be able to enable BCLK control for the CPU, though most recent BIOS versions disable it on Skylake and Kabylake.

Discovering ways to boost your CPU speed. The results aren't assured, but some methods might help.

Additionally, non-k versions don’t allow much character development.

I understand, but with the CPU locked, there aren't many options for boosting performance. It's just tiny adjustments possible.

The I7 7500 model isn’t available; if you meant the I5 7500, there’s an issue because it doesn’t work with the Z390 chipset at all.

I believe the issue might be with the motherboard. I'm trying to find the correct one right now.

The situation with a locked CPU is limited. Just boosting voltage isn't helpful unless you want higher temperatures. Voltage adjustments are made only when necessary to achieve a steady overclock, not for general use.

You can turn off all power-saving options in the BIOS, eliminate TDP restrictions, and configure your Base Clock to 102.98mhz. Keep in mind this may affect your memory performance and you might need to tweak the timing settings yourself. After completing these steps, install the Intel XTU tool and clear all power constraints while maximizing the Turbo Boost slider. That’s essentially what you can do.
