I just noticed something concerning. Since my PC started showing USB issues right after I posted it online, I remember a problem with Samsung Magician that made things worse later. Now I’m back to the original problem—those internal USB errors. I don’t know how to figure out what’s causing them. It seems my BIOS only supports Windows 8.1, which makes me think about whether X99 is actually compatible with Windows 7. I’m planning to switch to Windows 10 next week, so I’ll see if that helps determine the cause. I’m also curious what others think—could it be an OS issue or just a hardware problem? My NZXT Phantom has the fan controller built in, but I doubt it’s the source of these errors.

Find the appropriate drivers for Windows 8.1 by checking official manufacturer websites or trusted tech sources.

I have Windows 7. The USB drivers and motherboard drivers are fully updated. The motherboard drivers are one driver. The only optional one is Windows 7 USB and Windows 8. I somehow doubt that W8 USB drivers would change anything. Considering im not on W8.

I don't understand why I mentioned Windows 8.1—maybe you meant to ask about another version.
Consider reinstalling the USB driver if the issue persists.

It doesn't function properly. I've installed Windows twice and updated all my drivers multiple times recently. There have been persistent issues.
