It's a simulation, not a physical device. It functions well on other systems since it doesn't require an optical drive.

You might want to insert the CD key into the Steam client. It should function that way. Adding it to your Steam library is fine. Thanks!

Its Skyrim (ES V). It was released 2011. Its made for Win7, but Win10 isn't that different. You should be able to use keycode from it to activate it on Steam. Though if you bought it used, you may not be able to activate it at all. This is bit of issue with modern games as they will latch onto account they are first activated on.
