Let us be completely transparent, this is a flimsy argument at best ANYTHING in PC building has the possibility of breaking down when you insert it. CPU pins, PCIe expansion cards, PSU cables, RAM sticks and their slots etc etc Hell the GPU power cables catching fire is because people didnt properly plug in their power cable and they cause damage Everything can be broken in the exact same way you described with that adapter or the connection being "fragile" or treated without proper care. So once again
Sorry everyone, I wasn't aware this would spark such a discussion about the delicate condition of parts. Thank you for your feedback. I've noticed it's feasible to make a small tweak to the adapter, possibly because some have extra plastic assumed from 3D printing. I might be able to collect both and return one if it's not required, but honestly, who would do that? I prefer the smaller design option and am leaning toward that now.
It's normal for discussions to veer off track sometimes. You're not at fault for raising a question that sparks debate from an incorrect assumption. Honesty goes a long way. A loose connector is usually just a minor issue—it stays secure, won’t shake or damage anything, and most of the time it won’t cause a problem. Just avoid forcing it too far; you should be okay.
