Hi everyone!~ I recently noticed my laptop's CPU downcloks hard under full load. It is NOT Thermal throttling, both the CPU And GPU don't go pass 65 C under full load. From what i've been able to find, it seems like it has some form a power limit at 15W and i was wondering if there is any way to do a power mod, like many people do with the Apollo Lake & Gemini Lake Celerons. Assume 800MHz and verify Bi-Directional PROCHOT activation. If the limit is 15W, investigate activating cTDP level 2 through Windows power controls. Reducing core and cache voltage can improve throttling efficiency. IMON scaling adjustments may mislead power perception; they’re risky with batteries. IMON might need hardware tweaks if a design exists. Disabling SVID communications prevents accurate power estimation, letting software limits slip. Confirm power caps are also controlled via MCHBAR+0x59A0/A4—check PECI through the embedded unit. Some knowledge of 8051 systems would be beneficial. Generally, the firmware checks CPU TDP and sets PL1 quickly (often ≤28s), so exceeding it usually requires firmware changes or the methods above.

Run Throttlestop and lower core and cache voltages, plus try setting a configurable TDP (cTDP) to level 2 if available—this could boost performance up to 25W unless blocked by memory-mapped registers or PECI. I believe I can't configure cTDP since I'm missing the required Inyel Dynamic Platform and Thermal Framework, which aren't available or installed on my device.

It's just a configuration to ensure TS (ThrottleStop) can modify it without restrictions, as long as it remains unlocked. I think TS also offers a way to restrict memory-mapped limits. By the way, your HWiNFO image already displays cTDP at level 2 and it's active. The EC (Embedded Controller) can manage this via PECI, which uses a single-wire communication method.
