Hello, I'm setting up my PC for the first time and using PCPartPicker. It warns that the motherboard and CPU might have compatibility problems. The parts I'm considering are the AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-core model 100-100000031BOX, and the ASRock X370 KILLER SLI/ac ATX AM4 board (part # X370 KILLER SLI/ac). On PCPartPicker it says a BIOS update might be needed before using Matisse CPUs, and upgrading the BIOS could require a different CPU that isn't supported by older versions. I checked ASRock's site and they confirm compatibility with the Ryzen 5 3600 model, but their number shows one extra zero than the part number I have. Could someone with more experience verify this? Thanks for your help!

It will work with the R5 following the latest BIOS release, but I believe the B450 motherboard is a better choice.

Meaning of choosing the B450 chipset motherboard depends on your needs. It offers better performance and support for newer components compared to older models. If you're unsure, start with what fits your budget and system requirements.
