I received a Lenovo Thinkcentre with a Ryzen 5 2400G. It’s a solid machine, but it lacks sufficient RAM. I was thinking about upgrading, but I’m unsure which brand to choose since Crucial says it works with the PC but not with the 8GB RAM included. I just need to know if I can buy Crucial RAM or any other compatible RAM that matches the stock RAM. I’d prefer the same speed and type as the original.

I wonder if you want to know the reason and method behind the Crucial site stating incompatibility with your current RAM stick.

Check the specifications using CPU-Z to view RAM and SPD details. Aim for matching speed and timing (CL) between your current setup and the new stick for optimal compatibility.

The SKU for the latest RAM is not specified. Ensure you use JEDEC-compatible parts and avoid XMP profiles.

It didn't mention compatibility with the standard RAM, only that it works with the PC... (sorry for the poor grammar)

I’m choosing the Crucial Rams because the official site suggests Memory that works with your PC and likely with the original RAM. Here’s the link: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgra...sff#memory

I’m looking at my specifications: FSBBig GrinRAM 3:40, CAS latency 20.0, clocks per cycle 19, 19, 43, 62, Cr 1. I’m not planning to shop online because my area lacks Amazon and there’s no local memory stock. I’m not very familiar with asking a store worker, so I’m unsure what to ask.
