I own an older EVGA motherboard with an LGA775 socket. I was considering upgrading to a better CPU but found it hard to determine which ones would work. The board model is EVGA 122-CK-NF63 TR.

There are several outdated CPUs available, yet if you're aiming for the top performance on your board, consider models from the 771 to 775 range. For compatibility details, I have no specific information. I’m not too far along in this technology.

I own that same motherboard. What CPU do you have in it currently? I can't tell from the picture. That's an EVGA nForce 680i SLI board. It's a nice motherboard, though it is old.

It seems the board features an nForce680i chipset, compatible with any 775 CPU except the Q9xxx models. A QX6850 is likely the optimal choice to ensure compatibility.
