Compatibility for Ryzen 5 3500 paired with Strix B350-F Gaming

My Asus Strix B350-F Gaming board is now running BIOS v5220. I want to confirm compatibility with a Ryzen 5 3500 CPU. My current setup uses a Ryzen 3 2200G and has Corsair Vengeance LPX 2400Mhz with two 8GB RAM modules.

If v5520 is the newest BIOS, it should function properly. The B450-F VRMs are adequate for a 3600 or 3700X.

The Asus website lists version v5220 as the newest release. I chose the 3500 model due to budget constraints. Would be better than the 2200G according to you.

I believe the Chinese version was the 3900, but both are OEM chips. It could be the other way around too.

It's uncertain, but it's currently accessible in India. It appears to have begun shipping around October 5th.

It's a solid choice when you want improved performance, keep in mind the R5 3500 lacks built-in graphics.

Hey everyone, just wanted to share the update. I'm running the Ryzen 5 3500 on a B350-F gaming motherboard, and it's definitely an upgrade over the Ryzen 3 2200G. Still, I wonder if I should have chosen the Ryzen 5 3600 instead.
