I'm about to upgrade my old GeForce GT 740 GB low pro from my X-waifu. I have an Optiplex 7010 on Mint 21.1 with an i7-3470 and 16GB RAM handling a Minecraft server, Netflix, Hulu, etc. Do you know if there are any drivers available for this card? Would it perform better for streaming? I’m also thinking about using a controller for couch gaming if driver support is fine. Your advice would be welcome.

Linux compatibility with the 700 series appears more limited compared to Windows. Only a security patch is available for Windows 10.

Launch the extra driver manager once your GPU is set up, and you’ll see the appropriate driver listed there.
