I recently purchased a Ryzen 5600G for my daughter's new build. I have an Asus X470 Prime Pro nearby and would like to use it. I’m wondering if updating the BIOS will ensure compatibility. Also, if I opt for 3600MHz RAM, will it actually work or should I stick with 3200MHz and try overclocking?

Certain AMD X470 motherboards might require a BIOS upgrade before installing Cezanne CPUs. Changing the BIOS could necessitate a different CPU that is compatible with earlier BIOS versions.
