Do you know how Shadow of War stacks up against The Witcher 3 in terms of specs? If you can play Witcher 3 smoothly at 60-55 FPS and above 60 with no drops, what performance can you expect in Shadow of War? Your system—AMD FX6300 4.6GHz, RX 470, 8GB RAM—meets the same requirements.

Expect even more AI integration in Shadow of War, which could require a stronger processor but likely more RAM.

The NPC count in Novigrad continues to demand a significant CPU load. However, the performance impact is more noticeable with AC Unity on Ultra in specific zones of Paris, where even an i7 6700K struggles at full capacity.

The suggested processor should be an i5 or an fx 8350. From a graphics standpoint, it might be quite challenging since the GTX 1060 only handles 1080p at high settings.

The CPU isn’t strong, but the GPU performs well. You might still enjoy a solid experience by adjusting the graphics settings. Just keep in mind: Ultra is always a mistake.

I run ultra on my 1050 Ti and R9 390. As mentioned before, the CPU might get a bottleneck, but it could still work. Sometimes higher specs are suggested even if they won’t be needed.

You can apply ultra to any card, though it seems like a poor choice from the start—it offers high performance but with reduced efficiency. In most cases, you won’t notice a difference even when comparing side by side. The original poster should avoid treating ultra as the default performance baseline, as it likely won’t strain the GPU and might run smoothly.

Maximum performance needs 1080ti SLI setup for the best results. Nvidia suggests using two GTX 1080 Ti cards to hit 60fps in 4K.

Philip created a video explaining why most games have low graphics, and then added a premium upgrade as an extra feature.
