Catalyst 15.7 remains a failure. I checked their AMD site and saw they don’t support the 15.04 Ubuntu release, though they do for 14.04. I’ll pass this info to Penguin Recordings tomorrow.

It would be interesting if planetside 2 allowed Linux support.

The beta score of 15.8 remains unchanged, and drivers on Linux haven't received updates in more than two months... I had to switch to Windows since my friends use H1Z1.

Source 2 uses native openGL directly. There aren't many superior openGL versions out there, and AMD seems to have overlooked it quite a bit.

Native means it works directly on Linux without needing WINE. What I was saying is that the original Source1 engine was built for directX9, and later adapted to openGL when Valve focused on OSX and Linux. https://www.reddit.com/r/Games/comments/..._to_their/ The updated Source2 engine was created from the start with openGL in mind, along with DX11, DX9 and Vulkan. A more efficient engine.
