Hello, many of your games have been crashing during launch or failing to load altogether. Some work but only on DX11, not DX12. I noticed that lowering the performance core ratio below 55x can help things run better. I adjusted it from 57x to 54x and everything functioned smoothly afterward. My questions are: why is this happening? And does reducing it from 57x to 54x actually decrease performance in games, and how noticeable is that drop?
x57 on all cores isn't the default setting for the CPU; it's related to the motherboard auto-overclocking. Adjusting it back to what the CPU can actually handle improves system stability. The impact on game differences will be minimal. Have you updated your BIOS since Intel released the final fix for the overvolting problem? When the CPU runs too fast, it receives excessive voltage, which could worsen over time. The BIOS updates should prevent this.
