I will provide the specifications of my PC and laptop. This is the background information I have.
Regarding your questions about gaming and streaming, I recommend evaluating which device suits your needs best. For dual PC streaming, consider assigning each task to a separate machine. You might also explore using the laptop as your primary gaming setup, since it can connect via an open port on the GPU through an external capture card.
Currently, my PC (7800XT) is considered faster than the laptop (4080), and I play on a 1440p 240hz monitor.

If the software you're using supports AV1 encoding, you might consider applying the encoder to your 7800xt for streaming. If not, I'd prefer an external capture card with the laptop acting as the streaming device.

What services would you prefer to watch and at what quality? If I were you and had access to both options, I’d try a gaming session with each service streaming separately—PC and laptop. Compare the performance, then assign the slower platform to streaming while playing on the faster one. Based on this, you should be able to manage both tasks smoothly.

I've been playing games and streaming on my PC at 1440p 60 using OBS for Twitch, Kick, and YouTube. I plan to set up the laptop tonight and check the performance. Thanks

Using a capture card guarantees your gaming PC fully utilizes its resources for games. Your desktop performs better during gaming. The laptop could slightly improve on streaming, thanks to Nvidia's encoder, quick Sync, or E-Cores. The optimal setup seems to be a capture card paired with the laptop for streaming.

It makes sense. You're thinking about grabbing a capture card before the sales drop tomorrow. Besides Elgato's options, do you have any suggestions for an external one? Since you're using an iTVX setup, you won't need an internal card.
