I prefer a lightweight and quick mouse, but I need to choose between these two options. The Cooler Master is lighter, though it might not glide as smoothly as the Logitech. My current HP model has DPI set to 6400 for productivity, but I’d like it to be between 8000 and 10,000. Both models are similar in price right now.

I would pick the Coolermaster mouse because it's lighter than others.

I'm using the Keychron M1, which is 18g heavier than the Coolermaster mouse. I've used Coolermaster gear before and found it solid, but a lighter mouse could feel less premium to some users. Regarding sliding, it mainly depends on your mouse and desk mat. A dirty surface can cause scratches on the mouse feet, leading to increased drag.

The advice is quite useful. For the mouse pad, I don't have a specific recommendation, but you should consider your needs. As for cleaning frequency, it depends on usage—regularly if you use it daily and it gets dirty quickly.

I don't clean it until I notice dust accumulation, which shows a white outline of hand movements and peripheral activity. I remove the dust from the pad using a damp cloth, but remember that pads with thick bases may contain bitumen—avoid submerging them in water.

I own a deskpad, specifically the Switch Swirl Deskmat - Original. This was one of our first collaborations with Alexotos in 2019, which soon became a fan favorite. The "Switch Swirl" mat has been updated and now performs even better. We've introduced a new version called "Banana Split."
