Comparison of Asus Zenbook 14 OLED and HP Spectre x360 14 in 2024?
Comparison of Asus Zenbook 14 OLED and HP Spectre x360 14 in 2024?
Hello, considering these two options for a light user who mainly browses the web and watches videos. Reviews about battery life are mixed, with some saying HP wins and others the opposite. The HP's 2-in-1 design isn't much of a plus for someone not needing it, and they probably won’t use the higher resolution webcam often. The Asus model is lighter, which is an advantage, so I was inclined toward it if longer battery life matters more. Still, I’m having trouble finding ways to set up the ZenBook on the Asus site—whether for color or processor, especially the silver option or 16GB RAM with a 2.8k touchscreen.
Question 1: anyone have any insights or links to a reliable battery life review for these two? I’d appreciate it if a 125H model is mentioned, even though I expect the 155H versions to perform similarly.
Question 2: I’m a bit embarrassed not being able to locate this, but do you know where I can configure the Asus with a 125H processor? I found one at Best Buy, but it only supports a lower resolution screen and 8GB RAM.
Thanks!
I don't have access to your location details. Could you please share your current area so I can assist you better?
Sorry about the missing part. I also went to the Asus US store recently.
They're both OLED, the Asus just uses it in the name.
Except for that, I'm really considering a Ryzen model now. More battery, likely better performance, and more affordable. The ZenBook is the only one with this choice—lower resolution screen, but that extends battery life. I might hold off until Zen 5 later this year, hoping they make a big upgrade.
