I'm searching for a new gaming laptop to support my college studies and have compared two models. The key benefit of the M16 appears to be its DDR5 RAM, while the Blade 15 offers better performance with the RTX 3070 over the RTX 3060. I'm unsure which option will give the best results and would appreciate any advice on the most suitable choice. I'm checking Best Buy for the M16 and Amazon for the Blade 15, where a "Like New" condition is available for about $1,500. Any guidance on the better laptop would be greatly helpful.

College you mention, but what other purposes could they serve? Just note-taking, some web browsing, and productivity tasks? I think both models offer similar options... (the cost of Razer should include a mux). DDR5 is a bit pricier if you decide to upgrade, and the M16 only has one slot for that. The Blade 15 has two slots, as I recall.

Portability remains similar depending on personal preference, since their sizes and weights are comparable.

The M16 screen offers a wide color gamut... which screen model are you considering?

Upgrade potential is good for both, but the Blade doesn’t use Phillips-head screws.

Price-wise, if you can find the Razer near $2k or less, it would be a great deal.
Personally, if I have enough budget and a bit more, I’d choose the Blade 15.
