I was considering a new Wi-Fi card and noticed the options at my local store were mainly the TP Link Archer T6E v2 and TX50E, both priced similarly. Initially, I thought the newer TX50E would be better, but I ended up choosing the T6E. Since my ISP and router don’t offer high speeds, I didn’t think much about performance differences. My PC specs are an MSI B150 Mortar with a 6500 CPU—maybe that matters for Wi-Fi compatibility.

These cards offer distinct functions. The T6E works with up to 802.11ac, while the TX50E handles both Bluetooth 5.0 and 802.11ax. Unless you're on a very limited budget, choosing a TX50E gives you more features and lets you use WiFi 6 if you get a compatible router later.

It's odd that both choices are priced identically at the store you frequent, so opting for the TX50E makes sense for possible future alternatives.
