Hello, I'm from India. I'm looking to enhance my gaming and 3D modeling setup in Blender. Here are the components I've considered: CPU options like Ryzen 5 3600 or Ryzen 3 3300x, a powerful ASUS TUF B450 plus, RAM from ADATA XPG GAMMIX D30 with 16GB (8GBx2) at 3200MHZ, a Crucial MX 500 480GB SSD, and a Zotac Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB GPU. My PSU is a Cooler Master 750W with Hyper 212 LED, and I'm using a Corsair case.

For gaming purposes only, I suggest the 3300x. It behaved almost the same as the 3600 in titles such as GTAV, Tomb Raider, CSGO, and Overwatch. The 3600 excels in demanding tasks like rendering. If you intend to use your PC for workstation-level activities, the 3600 offers a superior choice.

Regarding Star Citizen, note that prices are slightly higher in this region. The 3600 fee is approximately ₹16k, translating to about $210. Adding it to the total comes to ₹49,990 or $661.

Linus just shared his new benchmarks yesterday... I doubt the 3300x is easily accessible. Plus, benchmarks are usually tested on finished games, not ongoing projects. It’s unlikely anyone would compare a 3300x to a game that’s been in development for five years with no clear end goal. Also, I can’t take into account the pricing in your region. You didn’t provide any costs, just asked for some guidance between the two.

Also keep in mind: If this machine generates profit from 3D modeling, prioritize options within your budget that deliver the fastest return on CPU usage. Even if the initial cost is higher, investing in something you can handle more efficiently will help you recover expenses quicker and allow you to take on additional tasks sooner. My 2 copper coins

Around ₹11k, you're looking at roughly $148, with a range of ±₹3300.

It's preferable at 3600, though you won't feel any change.
