Second generation can struggle at speeds over 2933, and it lacks PCIe 4.0 support. The 3600 for 120 is quite good value.

Zen+ isn't compatible with PCIe Gen 3. That's the issue.

It seems like there was a small mistake in the text. He likely intended to say 4, expecting a 3600, but it should be clarified. The 3600 isn’t twice as quick as the 2600, though $120 remains affordable.
